Regulatory Authorization

Superlegal.ai is authorized to practice law in the State of Utah as a non-lawyer-owned entity under the Utah Supreme Court’s regulatory Sandbox framework. This authorization is administered by the Office of Legal Services Innovation (LSI).

Please Note: This entity is not a traditional law firm. It is a technology-enabled legal services provider authorized to provide specific legal services under special regulatory approval.

Our Service Model & Human Oversight

  • Utah Attorney Escalation: In accordance with our approved Sandbox model, day-to-day operations are handled via AI and our global review ecosystem. Review, oversight, or escalation by a locally licensed, Utah-state attorney occurs on an occasional or escalation-only basis when specific jurisdictional complexities arise.

Attorney-Client Privilege

Communications regarding legal services within the authorized scope of our Utah Sandbox operations are protected by attorney-client privilege under Utah law, despite our hybrid AI/human delivery structure.

Superlegal maintains robust professional liability insurance coverage appropriate for the tech-enabled legal services provided within the state.
