Boston-based AI Cloud company DataRobot needed a more efficient way to review and negotiate routine sales contracts in the wake of a recent legal team downsizing. Timely contract review had become increasingly difficult to manage due to the reduced headcount. Legal had become a bottleneck to closing deals. There was growing frustration within the sales team because this increased the risk of missing quarterly targets.

The Director of Contract Management at DataRobot met the CEO of Superlegal at a conference. If Superlegal could really accelerate contract review and reduce time to close by up to 73%, it was exactly what she needed.
She saw an immediate, and significant improvement in sales velocity. “Contract turnaround time has dropped from five days or more to an average of five-to-seven minutes,” according to Nicole Ducharme, DataRobot’s Former Director of Contract Management. It was like having a lawyer dedicated to sales, who never needed a day off.
DataRobot has since grown its in-house team. However, Superlegal continues to review and negotiate all of Datarobot’s routine agreements and support the company’s hyper-growth.
